Isaku Kageyama
Isaku is one of the principal drummers of premiere taiko ensemble Amanojaku.
One of the finest players of his generation, Isaku became the youngest player to win Highest Honors at the Mt. Fuji Odaiko Contest, and became two-time National Odaiko Champion in 2003.
As an instructor, he traveled to Brazil 5 times, visiting over a dozen cities, to teach 500 Japanese-Brazilian youths the essentials of taiko.
His efforts were vital to the success of a performance by 1200 Japanese-Brazilian taiko drummers held in June 2008.
Chris Young
Chris began playing the guitar at the age of 8, and quickly caught the attention of his peers by winning the“Best Guitarist in Houston Under 17”contest at age 13.
While studying jazz at the High School for the Visual and Performing Arts, Chris was already working professionally as a guitarist at age 16.
In college, where he attended University of Miami under tull tuition scholarship, Chris played with jazz greats Wynton Marsalis and Joe Lovano.
Recently, Chris has also made national tours, recordings, and performances with artists such as Shirley Bassey, Angie Stone, Richard Bona, and Sadao Watanabe.
Pat Glynn
A multi-talented and extremely versatile musician, Pat Glynn has played a wide variety of musical styles such as jazz, Broadway rock, electronic, and Latin.
His professional performing experience include the Walt Disneyworld Orchestra, national and international Broadway tours such as Chicago, Annie Get Your Gun, Saturday Night Fever, Fiddler on the Roof, and Tic-Tic-Boom.
Since moving to Tokyo in 2007, Pat has continued performing in a variety of groups, backing up performers like KONISHIKI and Iwasaki Yoshimi, and Simon Cosgrove.

ABOUT ISAKU KAGEYAMA X WINCHESTER NII TETE
Isaku Kageyama, award-winning taiko drummer, and Winchester Nii Tete, acclaimed African percussionist, meet for a conversation using the universal language of music.
The duo’s music, deeply rooted in the traditions of Japan and Ghana, flows like a conversation between two close friends, with jokes, laughter, questions, and their answers scattered throughout.
Two of the top percussionists of their generation, IK X WNT use techniques and rhythms that have been passed down through generations to create a new, modern sound that is organic yet refined.
Master percussionist Winchester Nii Tete hails from the honorable Addy-Amo-Boye families of drummers in Ghana.
He is the absolute performer delivering a finely textured repertoire of songs and dance centered around exuberant traditional rhythms that are a true testament of technical finesse and sensitive expressiveness.
He has performed with the Ghana national troupe, Sachi Hayasaka, Yoshio Harada, Takasitar, Naoki Kubojima, Tsuyoshi Furuhashi and many other artists. He has played in various genres, including jazz, hip-hop, reggae, pop and world music.
Accomplished on the kplango, talking drum and many other instruments of Ghana, he is a brilliant young star who is certain to follow in the footsteps of his legendary uncles Obo Addy and Aja Addy in gaining international acclaim. He has a CD of his music "BAA JO."
